Early Show: “Jazz Duo Elixirs” with Roberta Baum – vocals and Mike Holstein – guitar, 5-7pm, $3 suggested cover.
EVENT: Catching the Sun screening: 6-9pm hosted by Appalachian Voices. The documentary will be followed by a panel discussion with various stakeholders in – delete “in” / please use “from” the Asheville solar energy community. Suggested donation of $3-$10 at the door to benefit Appalachian Voices. Vegan dinner for purchase by Bella and Calvin.

Jazz-n-Justice Tuesday, July 19

Early Show: Jazzy Happy Hours – Bill Gerhardt on piano, 5-7pm, $3 suggested cover.
Later MUSIC: Jazz-n-Justice Tuesday featuring The Doctor B Trio perform with Bruce Hirsch on guitar, Dan Keller on guitar, and Zack Page on bass, to benefit The POP Project. Please bring a new or gently used book or two. 7:30 – 10:30pm.
COVER: $3 – $5 donation

Wednesday, July 20

Early Show: Jazzy Happy Hours – Mike Holstein on guitar, Elise Pratt on vocals, Byron Hedgepeth on percussion. 5-7pm, $3 suggested cover.
EVENT: Asheville Green Drinks highlighting The Dogwood Alliance, 5:30 – 7pm
Later MUSIC: Michael Jefry Stevens’ “Nonet” with Michael Jefry Stevens – piano and composition, Rick Dilling- drums, Zack Page – bass, Will Beasley – bass, Christian Howes – Violin, Gina Caldwell – Viola, Jason Moore – Saxophone/flute/clarinet, Rich Willey – Trumpet and Frank Southecorvo – Saxophones.
