Dance Meetup Event – hosted by Lindsay M.
November 30, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm EST
Come out and enjoy an evening filled with a variety of dance styles, hosted by Lindsay M. Plus vegan dinner and drink specials will be available.
There will be live music featuring Laura Light (fiddle), Paul Moore (piano), and Jeff Hersk (bass) playing Swing, Blues, Waltz, and maybe even a contradance – A Swiss Army Knife of dance pleasure! They all play in several bands, have decades of experience, and bring a big bucket of groove to the party. Click to learn about the Dance Meetup group.
— Dinner available at 6:00 (Optional: about $10; Vegan, and tasty);
— Dance starts at 7:30. (Don’t know all those styles? Relax. I told the judges it was Thursday.)
— Donation at the door (sliding scale, $5 suggested) encourages the band;
— Drinks support THE BLOCK off biltmore – featuring a nice non-alcoholic drink menu, too.
THE BLOCK off biltmore has a great menu of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We’ve got your favorite cocktails and mocktails, plus a great variety of vegan beers, wine, and spirits…..many of which are eco-friendly (i.e. distilled in solar and wind-powered distilleries). We also have buchi, locally crafted Kombucha tea, and Unity Vibration Kombucha beer on tap. Ask nightly about drink specials – you can always count on a $3 craft beer!
Also – did you know that every drink you purchase at THE BLOCK off biltmore helps to support the YMI Cultural Center? Ask us how when you come in.
And remember there is FREE parking a block away after 5 pm during the week (all day Sat & Sun) at the municipal lot located at Spruce and Marjorie beside the police station.
THE BLOCK off biltmore….. where your drink makes a difference!
