Oxygen Masks for Animals Delivered to Asheville Fire Department

On January 31, Cam, the owner of THE BLOCK off biltmore, presented oxygen mask kits to the City of Asheville Fire Department. Seventeen kits were presented, one for every fire truck, each containing a small, medium, and large oxygen mask!

The project was one of many recent endeavors, and included raising funds and making the oxygen masks for animals in emergencies. Many of our customers and community members know that our mission is to exist for and to give back to our community. We do this in a variety of ways, often serving as a meeting place and providing a venue for benefits, groups, and nonprofits. Most nights, we donate a percentage of bar sales to local endeavors and organizations, too.
